SAWICH Drives New Milestone in China-Mozambique Economic Cooperation

In a significant step toward strengthening China-Mozambique economic ties, SAWICH recently facilitated a high-level dialogue between the Mozambique Confederation of Trade Associations (CTA) and the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Research Council.

The meeting brought together Peng Zheng, president of Research Council, Teresa Muenda, representative of Mozambique CTA, and Xu Hongzhai, a distinguished professor from Hunan Agricultural University and president of SAWICH to discuss opportunities for deepening trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The productive discussions culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), formalizing both parties’ commitment to fostering economic collaboration, sharing expertise, and exploring joint initiatives. The agreement is expected to pave the way for enhanced trade exchanges and long-term partnerships between China and Mozambique.

SAWICH’s role in bringing these stakeholders together highlights its commitment to promoting international economic cooperation and facilitating impactful cross-border partnerships.
